Meeting Schedule & Events

This group meets each 3rd Saturday of the month at 10am.  Family of Faith Lutheran Church in Concord NC.  The church is located at 240 Pitts School Rd, Concord.  Click HERE to see a map of the vicinity (this will open in a new window and is external content to our website)

Bring your sewing machines and notions.  Pre-cut packets will be provided.  All skill levels are encouraged and children are welcome.  We also have some sewing machines available if you do not have one, and we have a job for everyone - non-sewer to expert!

We are always looking to add other regularly scheduled meetings.  Meetings can be for yarn-crafting, lovie dolls and/or sewing. 

If you are interested in hosting a meeting, please use the 'Contact' form to contact us.  Meetings may be hosted in a private home, church hall, community center, company conference room - any place where there is electricity and tables.  Yarn-crafting meetings only require a comfortable space and good lighting.

We are a participating 'vendor' at the annual Presbyterian Hospital NICU reunion.  If you are a Presbyterian NICU family, be sure to come by and say hello!  The event is held in the park at the corner of 7th and Hawthorne in uptown Charlotte, just down the street from Presbterian Main.

We always need volunteers to help man our tables, where we make Lovie Dolls with the kids.  It's great fun and a good opportunity to meet some of our recipient families.  No prior experience or skill is necessary!

We are happy to help your group host a "Lovie Doll" party!  Lovie dolls are simple sock dolls that can be made by anyone from ages 2 to 102!  We will provide your group the materials and instructions.  You just provide the stuffing and the volunteers.  This is a great service project for church, school and other civic groups.  Use the 'Contact' form to request more information on hosting a Lovie Doll event!
